Specializing in Cataract Surgery, Dr. Gorscak has also established a broad practice that addresses an array of eye health concerns. From managing the complexities of diabetic eye conditions to treating dry eyes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, his expertise encompasses the full spectrum of ophthalmic care.
Hailing from Kinnelon, New Jersey, Dr. Gorscak’s academic journey began at Johns Hopkins University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He attended medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. His return to South Florida in 2008 marked the beginning of his dedicated service to the community’s eye care needs. His decision to settle in Palm Beach County was influenced by his deep affection for South Florida, which he developed during his training years.
Dr. Gorscak is involved with medical organizations such as the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He also collaborates with the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Balancing Professional and Personal Life
Dr. Gorscak’s life is centered around his family. He treasures moments with his loved ones, finding his greatest fulfillment in being a dedicated husband and parent. Balancing his personal life with professional commitments, he values the bonds he shares with his family above all else.
The Vision for See Vision Eye Institute
Dr. Gorscak founded See Vision Eye Institute, which will operate as an ophthalmic clinic and surgical center in Palm Beach County. It’s scheduled to open in Wellington, Florida, in January 2024, with plans for a future relocation to Lake Worth, Florida. This expansion aims to enhance access to advanced eye care services in the community.
